At our Sunday afternoon meetings, members from throughout the heartland come together to learn, to share their experience and knowledge, and to participate in spirited shop talk.
Whether you're just beginning to write or are a seasoned professional with numerous publications to your credit, we believe you'll find value in belonging to the Heartland Writers Guild, and you will benefit by attending our monthly meetings.
Meetings also offer Q&A sessions where members ask questions and receive answers based on the varied experiences of their fellow writers.
HWG members enjoy the tradition, established in 2004, of participating with invited guests in an annual field trip on the day of the October meeting.
And yes, there will be food after checking out the point of destination...sometimes at a local eatery and sometimes at the home of one of the members.
Won't you join today? Bring your fresh ideas and new perspectives to the next meeting.
